    Get your groove on baby!

The Restless Buddha is RISING at Southbank Centre
and we want YOU to join us!

    FEBRUARY 14, 2013
    @ 2:15 pm sharp!

Level 2 Foyers, Royal Festival Hall
    (next to the bar)

A joyous, spontaneous flash mob dance to surprise and inspire everyone there.
On the day, we will all rise and dance together in one united front to the One Billion Rising anthem: Break the Chain.
Once you hear Cyndi Lauper’s Girls just wanna have fun“, get your dancing shoes ready, ’cause the next song will be ours!
Song and dance tutorials for Break the Chain below. Learn it. Live it. And join us on the day.

One in three women on the planet will be raped or beaten in her lifetime. One billion women violated is an atrocity.

Red&Black! We’re encouraging all Risers to wear red & black in solidarity with all One Billion Rising activists throughout the world, and those women and girls who could not be here to STRIKE, DANCE, and RISE with us.

Make the One Billion Rising Pledge!
We are suggesting that everyone who rises makes a pledge to do one thing in the next year to end violence against women.
Spread the word and make the pledge! Imagine a billion activated pledges!

To secure your spot at this historic event please RSVP at the onebillionrising.org site here.

One Billion Rising (OBR) is an international coalition of campaigners speaking out for action to end violence against girls and women across the world.  OBR is a global strike that has already reached over 61 million people.
It is a call to men and women to refuse to accept rape and rape culture, and an historic act of solidarity.
